The culture on the floor is buzzing and positive, and you can expect to be rewarded well with our uncapped commission scheme.The role:This is a new Business Development Manager role that is part of the sales team based in our Dubai office, responsible for selling to the Consumer Goods space across the Middle East region with a major focus on KSA and UAE.You will be responsible for targeting a plethora of FMCG companies across your territory. You will be a highly self-motivated sales professional, preferably with a proven track record of business development and experience in consultative/B2B sales.You'll need to have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the clients' issues, and match/apply the benefits of your solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally in different locations and externally across multiple departments of the target organizations. Strong networking and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of client purchasing dynamics, are a must. You'll also need to have the ability to be a quick learner to onboard our sales formula and demonstrate strong sales processes and strategies.This role is office-based in the heart of Media City with travel as required to meet clients across your market.What you'll be doing:Managing the entire sales process involved with selling syndicated web-based planning tools and custom research solutions to new clients (e.g., prospecting, territory management, meeting scheduling, product demonstrations, multi-stakeholder business case development, contract negotiation, and more)Taking ownership of your performance and personal development by linking it to your goals, identifying obstacles, and developing strategies to overcome them.Taking ownership of your personal sales targets; your own forecasting and account planning including researching a strong prospect list and a sales plan on how to reach sales targets as well as ensuring implementation of the plan.Demonstrating effectiveness by consistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI & revenue targets.Identifying influencers and decision-makers at target organizations and ensuring that you understand their roles and objectives as well as the benefits and applications of using GlobalData's data & market research solutions.Increasing your productivity by actively leveraging GlobalData's training programs, supportive managers, and diverse set of able peers.What we look for:Bachelor's degree required; MBA is valued.Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strategic approach to lead generation and client acquisition.Possess strong presentation skills capable of engaging C-level executives with a solution-focused approach, confidence, and a competitive edge.Highly driven, self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to simplify complex solutions while maintaining high personal standards.Fluency in both Arabic and English is desirable.What we offer:Strong Earning Potential: Generous New Business Commission Scheme with Realistic Targets OTE on offer of AED 35,000 with uncapped commissions and a 60/40 splitFun but focused work environment with supportive peers and managementWorld-class internal training & support: Guidance from Sales Director of 16 YearsInternal sales support tools such as Salesforce, Gong & LinkedIn LearningGlobalData believes strongly in the value of diversity and creating supportive inclusive environments where our colleagues can succeed.
