We are seeking an experiencedSP3D Administrator to join our team inan Oil & Gas EPC environment. The ideal candidate will havea deep understanding of SP3D (SmartPlant 3D) and experience insupporting and maintaining the SP3D design environment for majoroil gas and petrochemical projects. The SP3D Administrator will beresponsible for managing the SP3D environment providing usersupport ensuring data integrity and optimizing workflows.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer configure and maintain the SP3Dsystem environment to support project designteams.
  • Monitor system performance and resolveissues related to the SP3D environment.
  • Performregular backups and system updates to ensure optimal performanceand data security.
  • Provide technical support toSP3D users including engineers designers and drafters totroubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and deliver usertraining sessions for SP3D best practices and newfeatures.
  • Create and update user manualsguidelines and procedures to ensure smoothoperation.
  • Customize SP3D tools and templatesto meet specific project requirements.
  • Developand maintain catalogs specifications and libraries within SP3D tosupport ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate withdesign teams to implement projectspecific configurations andworkflows.
  • Work closely with other disciplines(such as piping electrical structural) to ensure seamlessintegration of SP3D with other engineering tools andsystems.
  • Support data exchange between SP3D andother design software tools (e.g. AutoCAD MicroStation Navisworksetc.).
  • Participate in project coordinationmeetings to resolve any technical issues related to SP3Dmodeling.
    • Ensure data integrity by managing SP3D data exchangeensuring accurate model data and design documentation.
    • Perform audits and checks to ensure the quality andconsistency of SP3D models across various projectstages.
    • Maintain and manage SP3D workspacesand project data to ensure compliance with clientrequirements.
    • Evaluate and implement systemupgrades patches and enhancements to improve performance and userexperience.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issuesrelated to system integration and communication between SP3D andother project tools.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent inEngineering (Piping Mechanical Electrical Civil or relatedfields).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experienceworking with SP3D in the Oil & Gas Petrochemical or EPCindustry.
  • Proven experience in systemadministration configuration and troubleshooting ofSP3D.
  • Experience in managing largescalemultidisciplinary projects with SP3D integration.
  • Indepth knowledge of SP3D software including setupcustomization and data management.
  • Experiencewith other design software such as AutoCAD MicroStation Navisworksand Smart Plant Review is a plus.
  • Familiaritywith databases and scripting languages (e.g. SQL Python) to enhanceSP3D functionality.
  • Understanding of designprocesses and workflows within the Oil & Gasindustry.
  • Strong problemsolving andtroubleshooting skills.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively withproject teams and clients.
  • Ability to managemultiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Teamoriented with a proactiveapproach to addressing challenges and systemimprovements.
