Whatyou will need todo:

  • Draftsprojectspecific Cost ControlProcedures.
  • Prepares Cost Breakdown Structure(CBS) in accordance with Companys guidelines WBS and Contractspricing structure.
  • Prepares initial ProjectBudget in accordance with the Scope of Work and tender pricingdocuments.
  • Collects actual costs/expendituresand allocates to the CBS.
  • Calculates the Valueof Work Executed (Value of Work DoneVOWD).
  • Performs the Earned Value Management(EVM) for both Manhours and Cost.
  • Preparationof monthly Manhours and Cost forecasts for Project ManagementEngineering Construction Materials and other projectresources.
  • Prepare cost estimates forVariations and Claims including Indirect and DirectCosts.
  • Review cost estimates of Subcontractorsfor claims and variations.
  • Monitors projectactual costs determine and analyses cost variances and develop costtrends and projections using and presenting the Budgeted Cost forWork Scheduled Budgeted Cost for Work Performed Actual Cost forWork Scheduled Actual Cost for Work Performed and Cost PerformanceIndex.
  • Prepares costreports.
  • Maintains records of actual costelements (materials equipment manpower etc.) to use in the ProjectCloseOut Report and to provide feedback to tenderingdepartment.
  • Liaises with project differentsections in cost allocation accounting and controlmatters.
  • Participates in preparing the ProjectCloseOut Report and Lessons Learnt.
  • Preparesregular billing to the Client provide necessary supportingdocuments and communicates with the Client for certification andpayment.
  • Reviews Subcontractors invoices alongwith supporting documents.
  • Performs any otherrelated duties as assigned.
  • Participates inperiodic site meetings to elaborate the project cost reports. Inaddition to record any suggested changes and/or deviations from theplan and to advice of its effect on the overallbudget.
  • Performs any other related duties asassigned.

What you willneed tohave:

  • University degreein Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years relevantexperience including 5 years experience in construction industry atsimilar level.
  • Experience in EPC Projects aboveUS$ 100M with direct involvement in Engineering Procurement andConstruction is essential.
  • Previous employmentwith leading EPC contractors is highlypreferable.
  • Experience in Oil & Gasprojects is preferrable. 
  • Capabilityto perform under stressfulsituations.
  • Engineering procurementconstruction precommissioning and commissioningawareness.
  • Fluency in the Englishlanguage.
