About TheRole

As an UndergraduateElectrical Engineer at AECOM you will join our Building Engineeringteam in the UAE. This role provides students pursuing an electricalengineering degree with the chance to gain valuable experience at adistinguished multinational company and contribute to significantprojects in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strongunderstanding of electrical power flow and distributionprinciples.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Learnand use industrystandard applications to perform lightingcalculations and power distribution analysis for buildingengineering projects.
  • Develop and usespreadsheets to solve technical issues or automate productionprocedures.
  • Conduct engineering design tasksunder the supervision of an experiencedengineer.
  • Create designs calculations sketchesdiagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings undersupervision.
  • Coordinate design work with otherdisciplines in a collaborativeenvironment.
  • Engage in selflearning throughAECOM Universitys extensive eLearningresources.
  • Collect and analyze data under thesupervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Usecomputer software as a tool for solving basic engineeringproblems.
  • Perform work in accordance withagreedupon budget and schedule undersupervision.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Pursuinga Electrical EngineeringDegree.
  • Expected Graduation:2026 (finalyearstudents).
  • GPA: Applicantsshould have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) to beconsidered.
  • StartDate: Rolling window from March to May2025.
  • Duration: 12months from startdate.
  • Eligibility: As part ofAECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE laborlaw only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered forthisrole.
