We are looking for an enterprising steel fixer to joinour construction team. The responsibilities of the steel fixerinclude following engineering plans using hand and power toolscutting and bending steel bars and mesh and connecting rebar withwire clips or welds to build up sections.

To bea successful steel fixer you should be able to read and interpretengineering plans and work according to those plans. Ultimately asteel fixer should be physically fit and comfortable workingoutdoors in all weather types and at variousheights.

Steel FixerResponsibilities:

Reading and interpretingbuilding and engineering plans anddrawings.

Setting out work areas and determiningthe required materials.

Using hand and powertools to cut and bend steel bars andmesh.

Laying out steel bars mesh rods andframework.

Hoisting steel bars mesh andreinforcements into place.

Fitting spacers andsupports.
