Hiring CFO for our real estate development client in Dubai. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CFO to lead our financial operations and drive strategic financial decision-making.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Experience having worked with real estate, infrastructure or construction companies handling decision making, experience backed judgement, strong work ethics & integrity to steer business growth.
  • Exhibiting leadership in maintaining financial health of the company.
  • Spearheading the entire finance & accounts, preparation of financial statements, audit, MIS, financial projections, business model, taxation, project finance, stakeholder management functions with consistent record of delivering results.
  • Managing overall financial planning & control, capital structuring, budgeting, treasury, cash flow planning.
  • Execution and understanding of fund raising through debt, bonds, equity, restructuring and resolution plans.
  • Presentation and negotiation with banks for new credit lines.
  • Recognized for raising funds for project requirements including additional loans, restructuring, liquidity support loans with continuous interface with banks and financial institutions.
  • Team-based management style coupled with zeal to drive visions into reality.
  • Liaising with banks, rating agencies, and various regulatory authorities.
  • Lead financial analysis such as budget setting, expense variance analysis, financial projections & consolidation; investigated and resolved potential revenue leakage areas.
  • Oversee and steer the accounts, reporting, controls, taxation, auditing & treasury function.
  • Handling controllership functions & statutory compliances.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Financial controls, receivables, payables and inventory management.
  • Expertise in planning, profitability analysis, and budgeting & forecasting.
  • Preparation of financial forecasts and comparison with actuals – current, estimate and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Demonstrate expertise in fund raising through banks and maintaining lender relationship.
  • Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including taxation, treasury, credit controls, reporting, and compliance.

Qualification Required:

  • CA, ICWA, MBA or CFA.

Relevant Experience:

  • 18+ years of total experience in finance, accounts and taxation domain.
  • Candidate with minimum 5 years in a real estate development, infrastructure, construction industry would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of real estate market, applicable laws and regulations related to real estate is mandatory.

Relevant Competencies:

  • Strong exposure to manage accounting, financial controls, MIS, audit, fund management, banking, financial modelling, project funding, taxation, audit, budgeting, & treasury function.
