JobDescription:

AtkinsRealis arenowned global consultancy and engineering company is seeking anexperienced Architect to join our teamin the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong site operationsexperience and a proven track record in delivering highqualityarchitectural solutions in both consultancy and constructionenvironments.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Design& Planning: Collaborate with clients andproject teams to develop architectural concepts and detaileddesigns that align with client requirements budgets andtimelines.
  • Site OperationsManagement: Oversee the execution of architecturalwork onsite ensuring designs are accurately translated intoconstruction. Monitor and inspect the quality of construction workensuring compliance with safety and regulatorystandards.
  • ConsultancyExpertise: Provide expert consultancy services onarchitectural matters including feasibility studies siteassessments and compliance checks. Ensure that designs comply withlocal and international building regulations environmentalstandards and sustainabilitypractices.
  • ProjectCoordination: Work closely with other consultants(structural MEP etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery. Leadthe architectural design process from concept through toconstruction completion.
  • ClientInteraction: Maintain strong client relationshipsensuring that expectations are met and that the project isdelivered to satisfaction. Provide regular updates and communicateeffectively with clients regarding design developments and siteprogress.
  • QualityControl: Supervise site execution and inspectionsensuring adherence to architectural specifications qualitystandards and safetyprotocols.
  • TeamLeadership: Manage a team of architects juniordesigners and technical staff onsite to ensure smooth and efficientproject execution.
  • Documentation& Reporting: Prepare reports projectdocumentation and presentations for clients stakeholders andregulatoryauthorities.

QualificationsandSkills:

  • EducationalQualification: Bachelors or Masters degree inArchitecture from a recognizeduniversity.
  • Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture includingsignificant experience in siteoperations andconsultancy.
  • Provenexpertise in handling highprofile architecturalprojects within the UAE or GCCregion.
  • Strong understanding oflocal building codes regulations andsustainability standards in the UAE.
  • Experiencewith project management overseeing the execution of design workfrom concept to completion.
  • Ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and under tightdeadlines.
  • Proficient in design software(AutoCAD Revit BIM etc.) and other architecturaltools.
  • Strong leadership communication andpresentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the latesttrends and technologies in architecture andconstruction.

PreferredSkills:

  • Previousexperience with leading global consultancy firms or contractors ina similar capacity.
  • Familiarity withinternational standards and practices in architectural design andconstruction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaceddynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge ofsustainability practices and green building certifications (e.g.LEED BREEAM).
