DescriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our trading company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years of expertise in the UAE market. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with department heads.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash requirements, and optimizing cash flow through efficient treasury management practices.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Coordinate with tax advisors and legal counsel to ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT filings, and manage tax audits as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of UAE financial regulations and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and Tally.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proven track record of delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis within tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is must.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
