The Senior Project Manager will report to theTurner & Townsend Project Director internally and theclient representative at a project level. The incumbent will bebased in Dubai and may be required to travel across the UAEregion.

The Senior Project Manager will act asthe key day to day client interface ensuring that client objectivesare met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targetsand the appropriate quality sustainability and safetystandards.

We are looking for an enthusiasticselfmotivated individual who has excellent written and verbalcommunication skills and who wants to make a difference to theProject Managementdivision.

KeyAttributes and Duties:

You willhave both a strong pre contract and post contract deliverybackground. You will show excellent management and interpersonalskills and possess a very strong core technical skillset anunderstanding of construction and commercial and contractualawareness.

As a smart and enthusiastic SeniorProject Manager you will understand the complexities of a largescale building projects.

Your stronginterpersonal skills and exceptional relationship managementexperience will enable you to effectively liaise with a diverserange of clients subcontractors and key stakeholders. You areimmaculately presented and possess a perceptive knowledge of theend to end project delivery lifecycle inclusive of designprocurement permitting construction and handoverprocesses.

Your proven success in deliveringbuilding projects will allow you to execute the following keyresponsibilities as Senior ProjectManager:

  • Develop and manage a suite ofgovernance communication and management control systems for theproper conduct and assured delivery of the clients essentialservices and works.
  • Review the organisationstructures of the parties and recommend alignmentmeasures.
  • Monitor overall team performance andinitiate any required safety or performance improvement measuresand methodologies.
  • Monitor and audit compliancewith the requirements of the management systems and report asrequired.
  • Continually identify any projectrisks actively assign and manage mitigations asappropriate.
  • Initiate and conduct weeklytechnical and progress meetings relating to the services andworks.
  • Manage any client stage gateway reviewsand attainment of conditions precedent to suchapprovals.
  • Manage the attainment of designstage deliverables to schedule and quality that may be concurrentwith any fast track works package procurements and associatedpermitting and approvals requirements.
  • Attendthe site(s) as often as required to review HSSE logistics andprogress against the programme.
  • Produce formalreports on project progress measured against the baseline andmilestone dates and agreed projectwideKPIs.
  • Prepare weekly monthly and adhoc reportson project progress for the Employers representative prepare andconduct presentations as required.
  • Manage andadminister the relevant contracts affording appropriate protectionof the clients interests.
  • Manage the timelyissuance of company invoices and receipts against the agreedcontract.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Degreein architecture engineering civil engineering constructionmanagement or an equivalent technicalqualification
  • Buildings sectorexperience
  • Minimum 10 15 years ProjectManagement experience
  • Minimum 5 yearsexperience of working in the Middle Eastpreferred

Desirable

  • RecognisedProject ManagementQualification                                              
  • Membershipor chartership of a recognised professional industry body such asRICS
