We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our esteemed Digital Banking team.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our digital banking applications. Your primary focus will be on designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying software defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:Develop and execute detailed test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of digital banking applications. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate system behavior under various scenarios.Defect Identification and Documentation:Identify, document, and track software defects with precision, providing clear and concise bug reports. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues in a timely manner.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates on testing progress and results.Automated Testing:Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing processes to improve efficiency and test coverage. Execute and maintain automated test scripts, keeping them aligned with evolving application features.Continuous Improvement:Actively participate in the improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and strategies. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.User Interface and Backend Testing:Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces, backend databases, APIs, and other critical components. Validate the integration and functionality of digital banking systems to ensure a seamless user experience.Reporting and Documentation:Provide detailed testing status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, processes, and results.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Software Tester, preferably in a UAE bank. Strong understanding of digital banking systems, processes, and customer interactions. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, debugging, and defect tracking. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
