- Participates in committees, andtask-forces that are interdisciplinary or interdepartmental; may berequired to chair, co-chair, or lead such groups. Acts as a changeagent for the organization.
- Facilitateseffective patient flow utilizing bed capacity and staffingresources appropriately.
- Monitors and reviewsstaff skill mix and in accordance with patient acuity usesavailable information to align staffing andworkload.
- Builds relationships with staff,peers, and colleagues to support interdisciplinary andinterdepartmental planning, aimed at improving patientoutcomes.
