  • Monitor andrecord project cost including but not limited to labor materialssubcontractors etc. to incorporate into monthly costreports
  • Identifying and analyzing thedeviations in contract scope of works and implementing changecontrol procedures for any changes including but not limited topreparing draft notices detailed particulars cost proposals andcorresponding supporting documents.
  • Ensuretimely submission of the contract notices and maintaining therecords of all correspondence.
  • Preparinginterim payments payment certifications final accountsetc

Day to dayresponsibilities:

  • Preparedetailed quantity takeoffs for MEP systems including mechanical(HVAC) electrical and plumbing based on the project specificationsand drawings.
  • Develop and update interimvaluations for work completed based on approved inspection reportsand prepare and submit interim payment applications and issuesubcontractor payment certifications and maintainlogs.
  • Analyze the instructions comments ondrawings and submittals to identify any deviation from projectspecifications and scope of works.
  • Preparedraft notice of variation/ claim for any deviation from contractwith supporting documents for the review of Sr. QS and ContractManager and ensure timely submissions.
  • Preparecost proposals for variations including measurement sheets ratebuildups and supporting documents for the review of Sr. QS andensure timely submission and maintainlogs.
  • Identifying any events that lead toadditional cost and time impacts to the project and maintain properrecords of such events. Liaise with the planning engineer toprepare draft delay notices and subsequent detailed particulars forthe review of Sr QS and Contract Manager and ensure timelysubmission.
  • Prepare monthly cashflow forecastand cost value reconciliationreport.
  • Participate in negotiations withsuppliers vendors and subcontractors on material andconsumables.
  • Prepare Final Account statementsfor the main contract and subcontractpackages.

Preparing risk andopportunity assessments and maintaining risk registers andlogs.

Qualifications :

Minimum bachelors degree inengineering or quantity surveying or in related field with (0405Years) in the building services andutilities.

  • 02 years or more experienceUAE or Middle East
  • Minimum 03 years as QuantitySurveyor on sizeable projects in similar business orindustry

   Skills& ProfessionalRequirements:

  • Strongunderstanding of quantification cost estimation and commercialmanagement.
  • Strong understanding of projectcost control and reporting.
  • Knowledge instandard methods of measurements such as CESMM POMI etc andstandard forms of contract.
  • Understanding ofthe principles of design and construction of MEPSystems.
  • Proven experience as a QuantitySurveyor within MEP projects.
  • Base knowledge ofrisk management procedures processes and managementtools.
  • Good knowledge of contract practices andcontract administration.
  • Analytical criticaland logical thinking skills and collaborationskills
  • Proficiency in cost estimating softwareand Microsoft OfficeSuite
