As the Data Analytics Lead within theData and Analytics team, your pivotal role centers on steering anddelivering BI and analytics solutions that drive substantial valuefor Al Futtaim Business, with a concentrated emphasis on enhancingAnalytics maturity across all lines of business , this positionentails collaborating with senior Business and IT stakeholders toensure that Data and AI initiatives align with Al Futtaim'sstrategic roadmap.

What you willdo:

  • Deepunderstanding of various Analytics processes to aid Businesses inTransforming their processes into analyticalrequirements.
  • Drive large-scale transformationprojects with the project/program manager and represent the datateam at senior management reviewmeetings.
  • Define, plan, develop, and implementoptimal Business intelligence and Big data/Lakehouse applicationsacross multiple complex projects and solutions that fit theexisting architecture strategy.
  • As a seniorparticipant in an agile team, role is required to guide internaland external teams and ensure business deliveries are completed ontime per Business expectations.

Required Skills to besuccessful:

  • Solid experience with Data analyticsengineering and delivery.
  • Strong technicalExpertise in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Datavisualization, specifically using various tools such as Power BI,Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BI,etc.
  • Proficiency in the following programminglanguages, including Python, PySpark, andSQL
  • Deep understanding of Lakehousearchitecture, governance, and securitycontrols.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational andnon-relational databases, with experience in managing, designing,and optimizing databases for analytics.
  • Stronganalytical skills in handling unstructured datasets and extractingmeaningful insights from complex datastructures.

What equips you for therole:

  • Bachelor's degree incomputer science, Information Technology, or a related field ofstudy.
  • SAP and Azure Certifications will behighly regarded and considered a significantadvantage.
  • At least 15+ years of experience inData Analytics and Business intelligence, with a minimum of 12+years in roles directly relevant to analytics and cloudsolutions.
  • A minimum of 5+ years ofimplementation experience overseeing the journey fromconceptualization to delivering data analytics capabilities on theAzure platform.
  • Proven experience deliveringanalytics across multiple Lines of business such as Retail,Automotive, Healthcare, Corporate, and Finance is required,demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challengesand opportunities.
