Key Account ManagerWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven 'Key Account Manager' to join our automotive sales team. This role focuses on managing and growing relationships with fleet customers, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automotive sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key fleet accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for fleet customers, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.
- Regularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. - Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for fleet accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fleet sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and finance) to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. - Product Knowledge and Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's automotive products, services, and unique selling points (e.g., Power Swap Station, innovative features).
- Educate clients on the benefits of our products and how they align with their fleet requirements. - Negotiation and Closing
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
- Close deals efficiently while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. - Market Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and market insights to senior management. - Customer Support and Retention
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new fleet clients and provide ongoing support to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively address any issues or challenges faced by clients to ensure long-term retention.
Qualifications and Skills:
- - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- - Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with a focus on fleet sales or key account management.
- - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- - Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers.
- - In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including fleet management and vehicle technologies.
- - Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a customer-centric approach.
- - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
