I’m supporting a UAE-based organisation with the appointment of an experienced Interim General Manager to take full ownership of a multi-division business during a period of change and transformation.
This is a senior leadership mandate requiring someone who can step into the business quickly, assess the current operation, make decisive changes and take full accountability for performance.
The role will include:
- Full day-to-day ownership of the business, with multiple functional teams reporting directly into the GM
- Full P&L and commercial responsibility
- Leading a business-wide transformation and turnaround programme
- Reviewing the existing cost base and overhead structure and implementing improvements
- Setting and executing the overall business strategy
- Driving operational efficiency, profitability and sustainable growth
- Working closely with senior executive leadership
- Leading across business areas spanning print, digital/AV solutions and IT/managed services
What we’re looking for:
- Proven General Manager, Managing Director, CEO or senior business leader with full P&L ownership
- Strong track record of business transformation or turnaround – able to assess a challenging environment and implement change quickly
- Experience within IT services, managed services, cloud, digital transformation or a closely related technology-led business is essential
- Print industry experience would be highly advantageous, particularly alongside technology/services experience
- Commercially decisive with strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable making difficult decisions around cost, structure and operational performance
This is an urgent requirement. There is also potential for the position to develop into a permanent leadership opportunity for the right individual.
