AtkinsRalis is currentlylooking for highly experienced Maintenance Management SystemEngineer with proven track record of working in majortransportation projects preferably in a rail/metro project. Working under a Project Management Consultant (PMC) setupto oversee the works of the Design & Build (D&B)contractors will be a clear plus. This role offers an excitingopportunity to contribute to a major metro rail project ensuringthe effective management and maintenance of criticalinfrastructure. Roles andResponsibilities

MaintenanceManagement SystemImplementation:

  • Developimplement and manage the Maintenance Management System (MMS) forthe metro rail project ensuring alignment with industry standardsand project requirements.
  • Oversee theintegration of the MMS with existing systems and processesfacilitating efficient maintenanceoperations.

CoordinationwithStakeholders:

  • Collaboratewith the D&B contractor client and other stakeholders toensure seamless integration and operation of theMMS.
  • Act as the primary point of contact forall maintenancerelated discussions and decisions representing theclients interests.

DataManagement andAnalysis:

  • Oversee thecollection analysis and reporting of maintenance data to identifytrends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensureaccurate and timely documentation of maintenance activities andsystem performance providing regular updates to theclient.

Preventive andCorrectiveMaintenance:

  • Developand implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtimeand extend the lifespan of metro railassets.
  • Coordinate and oversee correctivemaintenance activities ensuring prompt resolution of issues andcompliance with safetystandards.

Complianceand Safety:

  • Ensure allmaintenance activities comply with relevant safety standards andregulations conducting regular audits and inspections to verifycompliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety andcontinuous improvement within the maintenance team addressing anysafety concernspromptly.

TrainingandDevelopment:

  • Providetraining and support to maintenance personnel on the use of the MMSand best practices for maintenanceactivities.
  • Foster a culture of continuousimprovement and knowledge sharing within the maintenance teamensuring high standards ofperformance.

PerformanceMonitoring andReporting:

  • Monitor theperformance of the MMS and maintenance activities providing regularreports to the client and project managementteam.
  • Identify and implement improvements toenhance system efficiency and effectiveness ensuring the projectmeets its maintenancegoals.

RiskManagement:

  • Identifypotential risks related to maintenance activities and developmitigation strategies integrating risk management practices intothe maintenance planning and executionprocesses.
  • Ensure that all risk managementactivities are documented and communicated to relevantstakeholders.

Qualificationsand EducationalRequirements

  • Bachelorsdegree in Engineering or a relatedfield.

KnowledgeandExperience

  • 1012years in rail or metro projects having worked in a PMC setup willbe highly desirable.
  • Proven experience inmanaging maintenance systems for rail or metro projects preferablyin a PMC setup.
  • Strong understanding ofmaintenance management principles andpractices.
  • Excellent communication andcoordination skills.
  • UAE experience in similarprojects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to joinimmediately ispreferred.
