A prestigiousinstitution in Dubai is seeking a highly accomplished and visionaryDean for the School of Dentistry tolead academic clinical and research initiatives. The idealcandidate will be a distinguished professional with extensiveexperience in dental education administration and research. Thisrole requires strong leadership capabilities to drive theinstitutions growth maintain accreditation standards and enhancethe overall quality of dental education.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Provide strategicleadership for the School of Dentistry ensuringacademic excellence and alignment with globalstandards.
  • Oversee curriculumdevelopment faculty recruitment and student affairsto maintain highquality education and clinicaltraining.
  • Lead accreditation processes andensure compliance with local and international educational andhealthcare regulations.
  • Fostercollaborations with healthcare institutions researchorganizations and industry partners to enhanceeducational and clinical opportunities.
  • Managebudgeting resource allocation and operationalefficiency to support the institutions strategicgoals.
  • Promote facultydevelopment mentorship programs and researchinitiatives within the dentalschool.
  • Ensure stateoftheartclinical training facilities integrating the latestadvancements in dental education andtechnology.
  • Represent the School of Dentistryat national and international forums strengthening its reputationin academia and the healthcare sector.
  • Drivestudent engagement wellbeing and professionaldevelopment to prepare future leaders in the dentalfield.
CandidateRequirements:
  • ADoctorate (PhD) or equivalent degree inDentistry from a recognizedinstitution.
  • Minimum 10 years ofexperience in dental education with at least5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g. DeanAssociate Dean Head ofDepartment).
  • Proven track recordof academic leadership research excellence andcurriculum development indentistry.
  • Experience managing accreditationprocesses regulatory compliance and institutionaldevelopment.
  • Strong interpersonalorganizational and decisionmaking skills to leadfaculty students and administrative teamseffectively.
  • Ability to develop and implementinnovative programs that enhanceclinical training and research indentistry.
  • Familiarity withdental education regulations in Dubai and theUAE is preferred.
  • Strong networkwithin the dental healthcare and academicsectors to foster collaborations and industrypartnerships.
