Infrastructure Project Manager

The Senior Infrastructure ProjectManager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients withmultiple infrastructure projects, ensuring flawless execution,timely delivery, and profitability. This role involves complexproject management, risk mitigation, and directing a team ofProject Managers. The ideal candidate will also have a strongbackground in design management to effectively integrate andoversee design processes within infrastructureprojects.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Clientand Portfolio Management:
• Managea portfolio of clients with multiple ongoing infrastructureprojects.
• Foster strong client relationships tosecure repeat business and drive revenuegrowth.
• Act as the primary point of contact forclients, addressing concerns and ensuring clientsatisfaction.
• Project Deliveryand FinancialPerformance:
• Ensure projects aredelivered on time, within scope, and withinbudget.
• Consistently achieve planned profitmargins and prevent write-downs or multipliererosion.
• Identify opportunities for projectupselling and additional serviceofferings.
• RiskManagement:
• Identify RiskTriggering Factors (RTF) and develop mitigationplans.
• Make informed decisions to manage riskand uncertainty, ensuring project stability andsuccess.
• Direct staff in minimizing exposure toclaims and legal issues.
• TeamLeadership andSupervision:
• Supervise anddirect Project Managers handling multiple projects or a program ofprojects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship toProject Managers, fostering professionaldevelopment.
• Coordinate with cross-functionalteams to ensure cohesive projectexecution.
• DesignManagement:
• Oversee andintegrate design management processes within infrastructureprojects.
• Ensure design deliverables meetproject requirements, standards, and clientexpectations.
• Coordinate with design teams tomanage design changes, approvals, and qualityassurance.
• OperationalExcellence:
• Develop andimplement project management best practices and standard operatingprocedures.
• Monitor project performance usingappropriate tools and techniques.
• Conductregular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identifyareas for improvement.

• StakeholderManagement: Engaging with and managing relationshipswith key stakeholders such as clients, government agencies,contractors, and the public. Ensuring that their expectations aremet and addressing any concernspromptly.
• ConflictResolution: Handling disputes or conflicts thatarise during the project, facilitating resolutions between teammembers, contractors, or externalparties.

• InfrastructureDesign and Construction: Deep understanding ofinfrastructure design principles, construction techniques, andmaterials for projects such as roads, highways, bridges, utilities,and transportation systems.
• CivilEngineering Knowledge: Expertise in civilengineering concepts, including structural design, geotechnicalengineering, drainage systems, and environmentalfactors.
• Sustainability inInfrastructure: Knowledge of sustainableconstruction practices, including using environmentally friendlymaterials, reducing energy consumption, and ensuring the longevityof infrastructureprojects.
• Utilities andSystems: Familiarity with infrastructure systemssuch as water supply, sewage systems, stormwater management, andelectrical networks.
