  1. Source, negotiate, and procure ship spare parts and materials from reliable suppliers.
  2. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery performance.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  4. Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks in the supply chain.
  5. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
  6. Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  8. Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice discrepancies.
  9. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
  10. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers.
  11. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in ship spare parts and materials.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the maritime or ship spare parts industry.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical components and ship spare parts.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Hindi.
  5. Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
