Inspector Dry  (Electrical)Dubai

  • Inspect siteconditions prior to start of construction activities. Verify thecompatibility of the site with the designed permanentworks.
  • Check for obstructions. Photograph anddocument the condition of existing property that might be damagedby the work. Make sure all existing structures property utilitiesand landscaping are properly protected.
  • Reviewmaterials delivered to site for conformance with approved samplesmaterials and equipment and report findings toRE.
  • Check that materials delivered to site areproperly stored and report discrepancies to theRE.
  • Inspect the construction of temporary andpermanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documentsand approved shop drawings andsubmittals
  • Prepare daily logs and reports.Maintain records of inspections made tests performed work executedetc perform all work in accordance with the Contract AdministrationProcedures Manual.
  • Observe site safetypractices and the progress of the work. Report any concerns to theRE.
  • Assists with the inspection of completedworks. Help prepare punch lists. Monitor the startup testingcommissioning and handover of the works.
  • ReviewRFIs received from Contractor (s) and make recommendations onresolution.
  • Review any requests for variancereceived from Contractors and provide comments as to entitlementand recommendations on resolution.
  • Able to readworking drawings and related specifications; be able to enforcethese specifications and produce relevantreports.

Qualifications:

Qualification

  • BachelorsDegree or Diploma in Relevant TechnicalField

Experience

  • 8years of relevant experience in laboratory materials testingincluding field inspection of samples andmaterials.
  • Middle East experiencepreferred
  • Relevant experience in comparableroads and bridgesprojects
