MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Deputizing Manager Audit and cash management to cover his absence and annual leaves as required. Supervise team of Lead audit officer/audit officer/ junior audit officer and stock agent and assign them tasks to complete objective of team. Assist MAC in setting up policies and drawing out different responsibilities of the Revenue Audit & Cash Management section. Responsible to conduct performance review, handle HR related issues for Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram team. Ensure the work instructions and procedures are updated. Responsible for planning and conducting the audit for Dubai Metro & Tram. Attending the meeting with RTA client and prepare the audit plan accordingly. Responsible to deliver and set objectives in respect of following: Audit on Station Cash Reconciliation Inventory Management Prepare and submit the annual inventory (Nol Silver, Nol Gold, Nol Tickets, Coupons (Silver & Gold, Print Rolls and Revenue forms) projection/forecast to relevant authority. Submit ticket/cards stock request to relevant authority on quarterly and monthly basis. Prepare the annual delivery schedule for tickets and cards. Coordinate with supplier for the timely delivery of stock and preparing the delivery arrangements at Al-Qusias and Al Sufouh depot. Maintain the minimum three months stock level for Red ticket and main storage (Al- Qusais and Al Sufouh). Coordinate with selected Security Company for the timely delivery on stations. Attending meetings with RTA for any issues related to inventory management or cash reconciliation. Responsible for ticket vending machine stock replenishment at Dubai Tram. Leading the team of Stock agents at Dubai Tram through lead audit officer and assigning them task as day to day activities. Provide guideline to lead audit officer-Dubai tram for preparing and submitting the daily monthly stock reports. Coordinating with selected Security Company and OCC for Dubai Tram ticket vending machine replenishments. Ensure preparation and timely submission of cash reconciliation reports, inventory reports and audit reports. Report any exception to the MAC on a timely and appropriate manner. Responsible to review, and statistically analyse all the reports submitted by respective team. Responsible to develop audit plan and implement audit and investigation to ensure the following: Audits have been carried out in a comprehensive manner to identify any procedural, technical or financial loophole. After identification assess the risk of each identified loophole and cascade it to the MAC in a timely and appropriate manner. Responsible to monitor the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of reports for cash reconciliations, inventory reconciliation, manual data bases, Audit Plan, Internal Control Memorandum Monthly Station audit Report and all supportive documents. Responsible to cross verify the values of system generated sales, cash collection, credit card and manual refunds / sales through source documents (Level 3 generated sales report, Cash Collection company report, bank report and manual databases). Responsible to regularly monitor the stock position at stations through daily mentoring tool. Cash reconciliation reports include (TOM Reconciliation, TVM Reconciliation, Car Park Reconciliation, Daily Fine collection checklist, Credit card reconciliation and database for Fine, Car Park Receipts and manual refunds). Stock Reports (includes opening balances, received during the period, consumption during the period, rejected tested if any, internal transfer and closing balance) Monthly Audit Reports (includes Audit Plan, Internal control Memorandum, Random Audit Checklist and Station Audit Reports.). To provide support on Audit Activities on stations including physical stock/cash float verification, and other station related investigation assigned by MAC. Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by MAC.

KEY SKILLS

A mature, proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem-solving capability. Ability to liaise in a professional and persuasive manner with staff at all levels in the organisation. Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic understanding of station operations and associated activities. Good literacy and numeracy skills required for the role. Ability to understand complex systems and possess good IT skills. Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work in an efficient and flexible manner in unsupervised circumstances.

EXPERIANCE

Minimum of 3 years, preferably 1 year of work experience in the related field.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION

Ideally a degree holder in Accounts/Finance/Commerce.
