Brighton College, in partnership with Bloom Education, is in search of an inspiring, charismatic, and ambitious Head to lead Brighton College Abu Dhabi starting January 2025. However, flexible start dates are possible for the right candidate.

  • This role offers the chance for a proven senior leader to shape the continuous growth of this 1,800 student-strong school and collaborate with a skilled team of Heads from Brighton College schools.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a successful track record of leadership, whether in the UK or abroad, along with the cultural awareness and global perspective to motivate the College community and manage various stakeholder relationships. Prior experience in leadership roles in the Middle East would be beneficial.

The Head we seek should have the drive and vision to lead this prestigious academic institution, which maintains its unique identity while reflecting Brighton College's values.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to serve as a prominent leader and representative are essential, as is the entrepreneurial spirit to build on the school's achievements.
  • Brighton College Abu Dhabi is part of a trio of Brighton College schools in the UAE, collaborating closely with Bloom Education. The Head works alongside Bloom Education's General Manager on strategic, financial, external relations, and local market matters.
  • Accountable to a Board of Governors composed of Brighton College UK, Bloom Holdings, and Bloom Education representatives, the Head reports on delivering top-notch education and pastoral care in line with Brighton College's ethos.
