Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint an experienced Cashier to start in July 2024. The ideal candidate should manage the day-to-day administrative tasks of the accounts office.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance or Accounts related qualification is desirable. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within accounts departmentExperience working in a similar role within a school is a plus.Able to multitask and cope with a degree of pressure at peak times.Knowledge in general accounts office procedures, policies and methodsExperienced in using MS Office with strong excel skills and Financial Software Systems.Strong verbal and written command of the English language.Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.Solid communication skills and attention to detail.Core ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this is a broad oversight of the main responsibilities, the full job description will include additional details.Handle cash, credit card or check transactions.Collecting fees, tuition, and other payments from students, parents, and staff. This involves accurately counting money, processing payments, and providing receipts.Interacting with students, parents, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Addressing inquiries about fees, payments, and account balances, and providing assistance with payment options or billing concerns.Handling & maintaining the petty cash system.Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.Keep records of transactions.Responsible for posting daily entries in the accounting software for the collections received during the day.Fulfil any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the reporting manager.
