MAIN ROLE OBJECTIVE

To oversee all airport control center operations and manage flight and load control in collaboration with the 'Network Control Centre' (NCC) Duty Manager to make decisions that ensure the best outcomes for customers and operations, maintaining smooth hub and outstation team operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish an efficient communication protocol for swift decision-making across all network stations.
  • Collaborate with 'Network Control Centre' (NCC) and Hub Duty Manager to address irregular operation issues, including implementing Hub protection plans and activating 'Ground Handling Agent' (GHA) service providers as needed.
  • Investigate delays in Airport services at outstations and any violations of supplier Service Level Agreements (SLA) to enact corrective measures.
  • Work with management on service improvement strategies and adapt methods to exceed targets.
  • Supervise flight schedules and ground service turnaround activities.
  • Manage passenger and baggage disruptions, ensuring proper communication with Airport Operations as per the Flight Disruption Handling Procedure Manual.
  • Provide guidance to the Airport Control Centre team in resolving operational challenges, being proactive to minimize issues and costs.
  • Communicate with relevant airport areas to provide flight-related updates and liaise with Emirates Hub Control Centre (EK HCC) for passenger transfer matters.
  • Analyze 'On Time Performance' (OTP) data, record daily operational statistics, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

· Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)

· Proficient in English & Arabic

· Background in airport operations, specifically in passenger services, baggage handling, ground operations, dangerous goods regulations, and ramp handling.
