Job Description:

The Solution Architect's role involves designing comprehensive solutions that deliver desired business outcomes for customers by utilizing standard solution designs within their specific domain and the entire company's range of offerings (hardware, software, services, and everything as a service), in collaboration with third-party components as needed (e.g. software and integration). They develop and communicate compelling, precise, and relevant proposals while ensuring that customer's business and technical needs are addressed. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of partner products and services, they identify the most suitable solution based on partner strengths and go-to-market strategies. Responsible for managing a solution domain comprising a specific solution or a related group of solutions aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish authority within the organization in a particular solution domain. Use market intelligence and expertise to translate functional insights into technical solutions, enhance proposed solutions, and generate demand for the designated solution area(s).
  • Engage in in-depth discussions to position the company as a trusted solution provider by interacting with executive-level clients, presenting solutions designed to tackle business obstacles while meeting financial goals and showcasing potential growth opportunities for customers.
  • Promote collaboration among internal account teams and involve a wide range of partners to develop effective solution strategies addressing customer's technical and business challenges, thereby increasing the company's market share.
  • Identify risks associated with transitioning from legacy IT systems to innovative solutions. Recommend solutions that maximize customer returns, and effectively communicate the impacts on governance, business processes, and security.
  • Contribute to the industry within the specific domain, participating actively in conferences, social media platforms, business events, etc. Stay informed about the evolving competitive landscape and its potential implications on customer environments. Present the company's value proposition with a comprehensive array of offerings and global support.
  • Guide new solution architects by outlining conceptual designs, detailed technical representations, and level of customization required for solution development.

Education and Experience:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from a technical university.
  • Preferably possess a Master's or advanced degree in technology.
  • Accumulate 12+ years of experience in the technology sector with a focus on technical consulting and solution sales.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrate an exceptional command of technical skills within the assigned solution set and be recognized as an expert in cutting-edge and emerging technologies.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of company offerings, strategic initiatives, current trends, competitor products and strategies within the specified solution set.
  • Exhibit excellent project management abilities or relevant experience, along with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including thorough due diligence.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with executives, ability to communicate effectively in English and local languages.
  • Show profound business and financial acumen, understanding customer key performance indicators (KPIs) and engaging in strategic financial discussions.
  • Hold relevant knowledge-based and practical industry certifications.
  • Demonstrate exceptional consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding, storytelling, etc.
  • Show extensive knowledge of various partners and products relevant to the assigned solution set, understand the company's regional 'Go to Market' strategy.
  • Familiarity with company business and technical tools, standard CRM systems, and platforms.
  • Proficient in using social media, blogging, and other information-sharing technologies.
  • Have experience in solution configurations, overall architecture design, and creating PoCs to meet customer requirements.
