We have an opportunity with one of our reputed client in Dubai, UAE for the role of Senior Project Engineer.


Objectives of the role:
Work as an interface between DUSUP and Solar
Maximize project efficiency and deliver on time and safely
Identify project responsibilities, delegating to the appropriate personnel
Working with the DUSUP onshore discipline engineers and Solar Engineers to develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
Working with the DUSUP onshore discipline engineers and Solar Engineers to determine the project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle

Responsibilities:
Create and administer KPI's for monitoring project performance
Assist DUSUP construction superintendent in establishing project objectives and developing workpacks
Prepare scheduled or necessary updates of construction activities and determine personnel and equipment requirements
Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
Oversee budget, schedule and quality
Report on progress as well as on any emerging issues that could significantly affect cost or schedule
Maintain a project risk register
Ensure completion of operation readiness deliverables (e.g. Equipment Tag Register, Maintenance Build, Operational Spares, Ops Manuals, Training)

Required skills and qualifications:
Four or more years of experience in project engineering, project management
Prior experience with Gas Turbines and turbine controls systems (preferable Solar equipment)
Experience in onsite management
Familiarity with processes for engineering change request (eCAF)
