Purpose: Responsible for collaborating with Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), Business and Recruiting UAE National colleagues, manage the hiring process from beginning to job offer and drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives within a specific function or market. Partnering with Universities and the Ministry of Human Resources to establish a robust UAE National talent pool.

Key Recruiting Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from requisition approval to making offers, including briefing hiring managers, advertising jobs, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, screening candidates, devising interview strategies, and managing the offer process.
  • Implement and customize talent acquisition strategies (such as employer branding, internal recruitment, diversity initiatives, etc.) within your assigned function or market.
  • Serve as a primary contact to facilitate the rollout of global initiatives within your designated function or market.
  • Utilize various advertising resources and candidate marketing tactics to generate local, regional, and global interest (if necessary) to attract qualified candidates for key roles in your area of responsibility.
  • Utilize candidate databases (internal and external) as well as diverse sourcing channels (e.g., universities, competitive research, job fairs, social media) to identify potential candidates, raise awareness, and encourage them to apply for open positions, including reaching out to prospects through cold calling.
  • Establish and maintain pools of pre-qualified and potential candidates within your functional area.
  • Regularly communicate with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process for each role.
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions with functional/market leaders and key business partners to understand current and future needs, enabling effective recruitment strategies for positions within your scope.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with business leaders and key partners to share recruiting accomplishments and identify areas for enhancing hiring performance.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners during the offer stage and manage candidate relationships to successfully fill positions.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and sourcing counterparts to exchange candidates and job opportunities, fostering a collaborative hiring approach.
  • Effectively utilize recruitment systems, adhere to key standards, document actions, propose enhancements, and ensure data accuracy for reporting purposes.
  • Lead additional recruitment projects as required.

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication aptitude.
  • Capability to lead change, solve problems, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Proven aptitude in setting and achieving clear goals and objectives autonomously.
  • Experience handling local, national, and global recruitment searches.

Experience Requirements:

  • Preferably holds a relevant University Degree.
  • Proficient in technology utilization and quick adoption of new tech solutions.
  • Track record of spearheading comprehensive Emiratization initiatives.
  • Proven success in developing holistic recruitment strategies and executing global recruitment initiatives (e.g., proactive recruitment, internal hiring, diversity programs) while meeting targets.
  • Ability to leverage analytics to support recruiting efforts and business planning decisions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience in agency or corporate settings, including 2 years specializing in a specific functional/market area.
  • High level of collaboration and partnership with business leaders in your area of responsibility to drive proactive talent acquisition planning.
