About

Tria is a consumer-first chain abstraction L1 that allows users to access assets and dApps on 300+ chains with gas abstraction, resembling Gmail's simplicity. The team collaborates closely with industry leaders like Monad, Injective, Polygon, Bitlayer, Neo, and others with an upcoming Unchained L1 Testnet launch. Within just 2 weeks of closed beta testing, they've already amassed 80K users.

Team

  • Comprised of crypto veterans since 2014, including early contributors to Litecoin and successful exits. They founded Polygon's Native Accelerator. Members hail from prestigious backgrounds at Blackrock, Binance, Polygon, Intel, Qualcomm, and Microsoft. The team collectively built a $100M LLM and managed portfolios exceeding $150M. Education credentials include alumni from INSEAD, UPenn, IIT, and BITS, with backing from top-tier investors operating in stealth mode.

Responsibilities

  • Blockchain: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and secure backend systems for a chain using EVM L2, AVS, Cosmos SDK (with CometBFT / Tendermint coming soon).
  • Scale: Design and implement scalable backend systems capable of handling billions of transactions.
  • Functionalities: Implement core functionalities of the L1 chain, including modules for consensus, governance, staking, and token economics.
  • Automation: Develop automation tools for deploying, managing, and monitoring blockchain nodes, services, and related infrastructure components. Ensure proper code testing and deployment across environments.
  • Cloud Management: Oversee cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize resource utilization to support network growth and demands.
  • Monitoring and Alerts: Implement monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue identification and resolution.
  • Security: Collaborate on implementing best security practices for blockchain infrastructure, nodes, and data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical support, and enhance blockchain operations.
  • Documentation: Ensure detailed documentation of infrastructure architecture and processes, including runbooks for incident response.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated on blockchain and DevOps advancements to optimize infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Backend Experience: 5+ years as a Software Engineer focusing on back-end development in product companies.
  • Blockchain Knowledge: 2+ years working on blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, and familiarity with Cosmos SDK and CometBFT / Tendermint.
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, with certifications being a bonus.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and APM solutions.
  • Security Mindset: Understanding of security best practices and experience securing blockchain networks.
  • Design: Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • Database: Proficient in relational databases, like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and SQL query optimization.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field. Certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies are advantageous.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Eigen AVS.
  • Experience in multi-chain crypto wallets, cross-chain communication, and DID systems (e.g., ENS).
  • Experience with Tendermint Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) and Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.
  • Proficiency in working with decentralized protocols like IPFS, Ethereum, etc.
