_Duties and Responsibilities:
_

  • Arrive punctually, in proper attire, and prepared to begin shift.
  • Organize the bar and make it presentable and adequately stocked for the day's business.
  • Ensure the bar floor area is cleaned and looking good.
  • Collect and count the bar float. Ensure the correct amount is being received for the day.
  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile, introduce yourself, and make eye contact.
  • Acknowledge any regular guests with a personal greeting using their name.
  • Inquire whether it is the guest's first visit to the Resyaurant.
  • Explain the food and drink menus and daily specials.
  • Take any drink orders. Always offer upsells to ensure more choices for the guests.
  • Prepare and present all drink orders while simultaneously serving bar guests.
  • Explain and suggest appetizers and entrees to all bar guests.
  • Explain the expected length of wait for any specific food items.
  • Change ashtrays when there are two butts inside or immediately when the food is served.
  • Conduct a sincere quality food check with the guests.
  • Offer drink refills when 1/3 full. Monitor intoxication and observe responsible service of alcohol as required by local laws.
  • Talk to the guests at every opportunity and build regular clientele.
  • Keep bar displays full and bottle labels facing forward.
  • Collect payment and return change or credit card quickly for signing with receipts.
  • Ensure that comment cards are available on the bar or in the bill fold tray.
  • Thank the guests for coming and wish them a great day/night.
  • Cash up your till to balance and complete cash out accurately. Submit to the manager for signing off.
  • Complete all assigned duties.
  • Clean and restock the bar for the next day.
  • Perform a weekly inventory in the bar.
  • Check beer cooler and storeroom.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years experience as a jr. bartender or similar role
  • Knowledgeable with different alcoholic beverages
  • Can work on shifting schedule
  • Must be in Ras Alkhaimah and can join immediately

Salary:
AED2, AED2,700.00 per month
