A leading bank in Dubai looking for an As400 Administrator.

Job Description:

  • Be engaged with daytoday operations on Operating system, MIMIX and other existing tools
  • Guide and work with the current team in building a solid daily playbook for all AS400 administration activities
  • Do a full health check for AS400 servers from mainly performance, security perspectives, IBM MO and identify gaps and enhancements areas and work on closing them according to Arab Bank policies and change management.
  • Provide onhands training for the team members
Skills Required

  • Minimum 8 years handson experience in AS400 administrations and operations and
- especially in AS400 security, performance analysis and system tuning, patching, IBM MO on AS400 and OS installation

  • Virtualized I/O knowledge is an advantage MIMIX knowledge is an advantage
  • BRMS knowledge is an advantage
  • SafeStone DetectlT / PowerTech security tool & PN400 knowledge is a plus
  • Be able to travel to Jordan on a regular basis during the engagement period
