Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurantManage the reservation system, taking guest bookings and accurately recording detailsSeat guests promptly and appropriately, considering special requests and preferencesCommunicate with guests regarding wait times, menu information, and restaurant promotionsMaintain a clean and organized host/hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are up to dateCollaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth seating and efficient table turnoverMonitor and manage the dining room flow, ensuring all guests receive attentive serviceAddress guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessaryAssist with coordinating private dining events and special occasionsAdhere to all health and safety regulations and restaurant policiesMaintaining knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamMust hold valid authorization to work in the USAFood Handlers Card and MAST permit requiredPhysical requirements include:This job requires constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
