  • Immediate Joiners Only*
  • Providing an opening statement that welcomes bidders and introduces the auctioneer or company conducting the auction
  • Presenting each lot to potential buyers and providing information about the item's condition, history, previous bids, etc.
  • Reviewing bids with the client to ensure that they are within the range of the reserve price or otherwise acceptable
  • Selling items on behalf of clients by calling out bids to determine price increments and signaling with hand gestures when to bid higher amounts or when the bidding has ended
  • Helping buyers understand the auction process and regulations
  • Managing an auction by announcing bids, taking bids from the audience, and announcing the sale price when an item is sold
  • Interpreting bids for the seller and providing an estimate of the item's value if it does not sell at auction
  • Closing out sales by accepting payment from the buyer or seller and recording the transaction details in an official record

Salary:
AED1, AED4,377.75 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
