Hydrogeologist Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our groundwater and soil quality projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hydrogeology, hydrology, groundwater modeling, and environmental impact assessments. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects from conceptualization to execution.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead groundwater and soil quality assessment projects.
• Develop and optimize groundwater level and water quality monitoring networks.
• Conduct numerical and analytical groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling.
• Oversee the design and execution of dewatering studies for excavation and construction projects.
• Perform flood risk assessments and hydrological and hydraulic modeling.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, reports, and environmental impact assessments.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in discussions on environmental policies and sustainable groundwater management strategies.
• Mentor junior hydrogeologists and technical staff.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Applied Hydrology, Geology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in hydrogeology and environmental consulting, with significant experience in the Middle East.
• Proficiency in GIS applications and hydrological modeling software
• Strong track record in leading hydrological assessments, groundwater modeling studies, and environmental risk assessments.
• Excellent technical report writing skills and the ability to communicate complex hydrogeological concepts clearly.
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a plus
