IT Vulnerability Management Senior Associate is responsiblefor managing and coordinating the organization's vulnerability managementprogram and ensuring timely patching of systems and applications.

Work closelywith cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities,as well as implement robust patch management processes. Effectively collaboratewith various stakeholders to enhance the company's IT security posture

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop andimplement a comprehensive vulnerability management program, includingvulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritization, and active remediation.
  • Coordinate andconduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems,applications, and network infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute vulnerabilitymitigation efforts, including patching and configuration changes across systemsand applications.
  • Establish andmaintain processes for tracking, prioritizing, and applying security patchesand updates to systems and applications, actively participating in the patchmanagement process.
  • Monitor industrysources for new vulnerabilities and emerging threats, assess their impact onthe organization, and drive proactive remediation efforts.
  • Maintainvulnerability and patch management tools and systems, ensuring they areup-to-date and functioning effectively.
  • Develop andmaintain vulnerability and patch management documentation, including policies,procedures, and standards.
  • Provide guidanceand support to IT teams in vulnerability and patch management best practicesand methodologies.
  • Collaborate withinternal teams and external vendors to address vulnerabilities and applypatches in accordance with the organization's change management processes.
  • Stay updated onthe latest trends and technologies in vulnerability management, patchmanagement, and IT security.
  • Activelyparticipate in incident response efforts related to vulnerability or patchmanagement incidents, including investigations and leading remediation efforts.
  • Ensurevulnerability and patch management compliance with relevant regulatoryrequirements and industry standards, actively working towards meeting andmaintaining compliance.
Governance

  • Maintain awareness andadherence to the functional/functional tower's policies and procedures
  • Participate in the periodicaudit of the established policies and procedures
Management Reporting

  • Support the development ofperiodic reports, as requested.
  • Highlight any quality ornon-compliance issues observed.
Change Management

  • Support the execution ofchange management activities in the sub-function/function
  • Support in the process ofidentifying technology-related needs in the sub-function/function that helpsdrive automation within direct line of work
Professional Development

  • Proactively identify andseek professional development opportunities to improve technical skillspertaining to the direct line of work and in line with the company's values
  • Participate in performanceappraisals and reflect on the feedback and recommendations provided by the linemanager for development
  • Minimum 8-10years of experience in IT Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, or ITSecurity.
  • Strong knowcompany of vulnerability managementframeworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience inconducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and riskassessments.
  • Familiarity withvulnerability scanning tools and technologies, such as Nessus, Qualys, orsimilar.
  • Solidunderstanding of patch management processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient ininterpreting vulnerability assessment results and identifying remediation actions.
  • Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectivelycollaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Know company of regulatory requirements and industry standards related tovulnerability and patch management (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Ability toprioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
