In the role of Economic Analyst, we will rely on you to:

  • Act as a key finance business partner, supporting the annual budgeting process, monthly financial and key metric reporting, and variance analysis
  • Assist in management reporting for executives, operations, and corporate by preparing supporting presentations for executives and board of director reporting
  • Summarize critical metrics in easily understandable formats to provide decision-makers with a clear insight into the financial and key metric impacts on the business. Utilize Microsoft PowerBI to create visuals and reports
  • Collaborate with teams from Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Hyperion, and Operations to enhance processes, deliver relevant analyses, reports, and solutions for management reporting
  • Communicate financial information to non-financial business partners
  • Offer insights and analyses on complex financial and operational metrics
  • Continuously seek process efficiencies and enhancements to streamline reporting, ensuring accurate, high-quality, and timely financial reporting for our business partners
  • Document reporting processes, reporting, and define key metrics
  • Undertake special projects as delegated by supervisors, the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Chief Financial Officer, or other stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large organization in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong communication skills are vital as this role involves interactions with executives and management at all levels in corporate operations, finance, and accounting
  • Must showcase critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, challenges the status quo, and consistently looks for ways to enhance processes and reporting efficiencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Curiosity and readiness to delve into details. Attention to detail is crucial, alongside the ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, presenting complex data in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience with Oracle's E-Business Suite, Business Intelligence, Hyperion, and Alteryx applications is a bonus
