Deekaj Worldwide Distribution is looking for a Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in logistics and freight forwarding, with a proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies around the provision of logistical services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring all costs and vendor charges are optimized to maintain profitability, and developing and implementing effective carrier networks. This role also involves monitoring shipments and maintaining clear communication through all phases of the journey.
This position requires excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as a strong understanding of shipping terms and customs procedures. The successful candidate will also possess a proven track record of results and generating new sales, and maintain a good relationship with existing clients.
