Business Development Sales Executive

TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic independent, multi-sited accountancy practice based near West Malling, Kent who are looking for an experienced Senior Manager/ Partner designate to join their team. You will support the partner with their client portfolio, and work in a general practice position, servicing a range of owner managed businesses but with a specialism within the property sectors. Our clients work with lots of property clients, particularly buy to let landlords, and experience with property clients would be advantageous, but isnt a prerequisite. This is an all-round position where you will manage a client portfolio, support with staff management and training, and have a genuine opportunity to progress towards becoming a Director, or Partner in the firm in the future. Our client boasts a really lovely working environment where they promote great internal progression and an excellent work life balance.
- Prepare and review limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts, and corporation tax returns on Iris software.
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain the necessary information to complete company accounts and tax returns in a timely manner to meet filing and payment deadlines.
- Identify ways to develop relationships with clients and deliver added value.
- Achieve team and individual budgets.
- Maintain the highest technical and professional standard.
- Provide additional help and guidance to clients as required.
- Coach, train and develop junior members of staff.
- Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience.
- Relevant experience of accounts and tax work in a practice environment.
- Tax knowledge sufficient to prepare corporation tax computations and self assessment tax returns for sole traders / partnerships and ltd companies.
- Excellent communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- 50, ,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
