We are seeking a seasoned and dynamicEVS Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. Thisrole requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for healthcare,and a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of hospitalenvironmental services. The successful candidate will beresponsible for creating and implementing strategies that ensure aclean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, staff, andvisitors. This is a full-time position, offering a competitivesalary and benefitspackage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations ofthe Environmental Services Department, ensuring all areas of thehospital are cleaned and maintained to the higheststandards.
  • Develop and implement policies andprocedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness of thedepartment.
  • Ensure compliance with all local,state, and federal regulations related to environmental servicesand infection control.
  • Collaborate with otherdepartments to ensure seamless integration of environmentalservices with other hospital operations.
  • Lead,motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a cultureof excellence, accountability, andteamwork.
  • Manage the department budget,ensuring efficient use of resources andcost-effectiveness.
  • Regularly assess theeffectiveness of environmental services operations and implementimprovements as needed.
  • Maintain a high levelof customer satisfaction by ensuring all concerns and complaintsare promptly addressed and resolved.
  • Stayupdated on latest trends and advancements in the field ofenvironmental services and incorporate best practices intodepartment operations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience ina director-level role in an Environmental Services Departmentwithin a healthcare setting.
  • Proven trackrecord of successfully managing and improving environmentalservices operations in a hospitalsetting.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state,and federal regulations related to environmental services andinfection control.
  • Excellent leadership andteam management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate anddevelop a high-performing team.
  • Strongstrategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability todevelop and implement effective strategies andsolutions.
  • Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith other departments andstakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using computersoftware and applications relevant to the management ofenvironmental servicesoperations.
