As the MEA Cluster CFO, you will lead the Finance organization for the MEA cluster by driving insights through client financials and analytics and providing end-to-end legal entity financial management.

The MEA Cluster CFO will serve as the Senior Finance Officer within the MEA cluster and for the legal entities within the MEA cluster.

This C16 role will report directly to the Banking & International, Client and Legacy CFO and will be part of the MEA Cluster Leadership team.

A key responsibility for the role is to lead and develop the Cluster Finance team by delivering on two key components: 1) Cluster, Country, and Client Financials; and 2) Legal Entity Financial Management

Key Responsibilities:


Drive insight on client strategy and resource deployment through robust analytical capabilities at the country, cluster, and client financials levelMonitor financial performance across cluster/countries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting business effort to achieve responsible growthLead the cluster finance team, with involvement in all financial processes including strong engagement with Cluster and Country leadership, Controllers, Tax, Corporate Treasury and FP&A and assist in administering the full spectrum of Financial functional disciplines across the clusterWork in partnership with FP&A and Controllers to deliver all finance activities required for Local Regulatory Processes such as capital stress testing, local ICAAP etc.

Works in partnership with FP&A and Controllers to deliver all finance activities required to support the local Boards within the cluster countriesContributes to deploying and measuring business contingency plans and representing Citi Finance internally and externallyAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Provide financial metrics, analysis and variance analysis into business reviews with Cluster Head and country CCOs within the clusterDrive Finance Risk & Control agenda within the cluster including data accuracy and identify, assess and escalate risksProfile:

Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferredPrevious experience in banking, capital markets, finance, strategy and planning, with 15+ years of experienceStrong project management experience to drive various initiatives to completionStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailWillingness to work / thrive in a pressured environment with tight deadlinesMulti-tasking skills with efficiently prioritizing various conflicts and interestsProactive professional approach while actively seeking new assignments and delivering out-of-the-box resultsIndependent thinker, with a strong will to develop and improve by challenging status quoAbility to build strong relationships and interact at all levels in the organizationProven adaptability to learn quickly and experience to work with various ethnic groups from diverse background and culturesDemonstrated consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
