Job Description Oversees the daily work flow of the department acting as its support system, carries out the following:On a strategic level,
Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures and improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
Oversees the talent pool process to empower the existing workforce and work on succession plans across the divisionsDevelop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employeesDay to day work flowOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands and issues.Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures and improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
Is responsible for the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
Develop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and issues in accordance with company policy and maintains records.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
The Successful Applicant The Successful candidate will have/be:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailStrong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
Strong understanding of Labor related laws and statutes.Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Attention to detailPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHR Degree desirableHR ManagementStrong background in a Strategic HR Management position/ Senior HR Business partnering roleShould be proficient in using MS Office, Excel and data related toolsKnowledge of establishing HR ranking system, regional experience in the Middle East and Africa, and knowledge on various HR applications will be preferable.
