Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Our company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

  • Carry out activities and participate in tool box talks to enforce Hazard control Measures identified in HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
  • Perform preventive and skilled maintenance tasks, equipment repairs, and testing.
  • Take part in plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Provide guidance and instructions to contractor craftsman.
  • Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure compliance with requirements and document all activities for workmanship excellence.
  • Conduct visual inspections and remain vigilant to detect any emerging issues, promptly reporting them to the relevant supervisor.
  • Offer effective solutions and troubleshoot to address critical repairs while ensuring adherence to company HSE precautions.
  • Oversee piping repair and replacement with a high level of workmanship to minimize rework.
  • Process work orders, plan man-hours, material needs, and time sheets in a computerized system.
  • Maintain records of material receipts, technical data sheets, application procedures, and inventory of all stock items and direct purchase items.
  • Diagnose faulty equipment, gather necessary tools and spare parts, and proceed to the work site for repairs.
  • Test, calibrate, and repair electronic/electrical/pneumatic instruments to ensure accurate operation while working independently or within a system.
  • Regularly inspect instruments in the assigned area to maximize plant availability and performance.
  • Inspect fitting work done by contractors to ensure it meets operational standards.
