Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Inclusion Teacher (Primary) to support our expansion and provision across this phase of the school.

The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region.

Our student body consists of just over 1,400 students from nearly 90 nationalities, making Hartland a truly international community where a strong blend of academic challenge, enrichment opportunities and pastoral support for all, targets and inspires excellence.

All that we do is underpinned by a values-based family community of teachers, children and parents providing the best possible education for every child in our care.


This academic year sees our first cohort of Year 13 students come through the school and GCSE results this summer saw 22% of all grades being judged at Grade 9, A*, with 67% judged - 7, A*/A and 86% graded - 6, A*-B.


The Post


Applications are invited from practitioners who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in a vibrant learning environment.


  • Hold a relevant degree, teaching qualification and a qualification related to SEND with a minimum of three years' experience
  • Have a successful track record of teaching and supporting students with special educational and additional needs in a mainstream setting.
  • Have experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
  • Have experience working with students across the primary phase.
  • Have strong knowledge of current practice and developments for students with SEND
  • Have experience of teaching the National Curriculum for England whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
  • Show commitment to the inclusion of all students
  • Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
