Position Overview:

The Business Analyst V.I.E will support the Finance Director/Manager in providing financial analysis and review retail performance and compliance.


The V.I,E will work under the direction of the Finance Director/Manager and will partner closely with key stakeholders in the markets delivering analysis, monthly reporting and Financial Planning and Accounting activities.


The V.I.E will also review all retail controls and work with the Finance Director/Manager to prepare the annual budgets, plans and forecasts.


Key Accountabilities include (but not Limited to):

  • Prepare and Analysis of Retail Financial Key Performance Indicators
  • Prepare and Analysis of eCommerce Financial Key Performance Indicators
  • Business Partnering with Retail Directors and Mangers in preparation of sales forecast and providing insightful analysis on monthly sales trends.
  • Preparation of Budget, Plan, and forecasts
  • Review and analysis of monthly P & L results
  • Partnering with HR to explain payroll costs
  • Preparing accruals and prepayments
  • Inventory Analysis and reconciliation
  • Capex and Cashflow analysis and reporting
  • New Spend analysis and review
  • Work with the Finance Director on any investment appraisals
  • Prepare the marketing tracker and review with key stakeholders
  • Prepare all retail commission calculations
  • Review Retail Metrics and Compliance of: Discounts, margin, cash receipts
  • Regular store visits to ensure financial compliance in store
  • Train local retail teams in AML and work with the Finance Director on AML risk assessments
  • Support Finance Director on projects
  • Document Finance Procedures

VIE Program Requirements:

  • Age
  • French or European Union citizen
  • Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies)
  • Available to devote yourself full time to your assignment

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be well presented, outgoing and selfmotivated with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
  • Track record of process improvements

Preferred:

  • Experience with JD Edwards
  • Experience with Hyperion
  • Programming and Database skills
  • Experience with PowerBI
