To undertake holistic assessment of patients in need of physiotherapy services, using clinical reasoning skills to provide a physiotherapeutic diagnosis of their condition.


  • With appropriate support, to formulate prognosis and recommend best course of goaloriented intervention, community reintegration and developing discharge plans.
  • To formulate and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment program based upon knowledge of the evidence of the treatment options available.
  • To evaluate and monitor patients' progress, reassess and amend treatment programs if required, developing reflective practice.
  • To represent physiotherapy/individual patients at meetings. This will involve discussion of patient care, patient progress and involvement in discharge planning.
  • To supplement pertinent information regarding patient medicalstatus to Physiotherapy Team Leader and Medical Director.
  • To determine the patients' understanding of treatment proposals to ensure valid patient consent.
  • Encourage patients and their relatives in an active approach in achieving highest possible functional potential. This requires empathy, sensitivity and good interpersonal skills.
  • Be highly skilled in communicating with patients of all ages who have a range of physical and psychological barriers to understanding.
  • To manage clinical risk within own patient case load.
  • To work within HAAD guidelines and to have a working knowledge of national and local standards and monitor own quality of practice.
  • To be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with HAAD standards of practice.
  • Respect deadlines set for submission of requirements and documents. To attain competencies for the safe use of all equipment and techniques before use.
  • To comply with HAAD and medical facility policy and local therapeutic handling guidance at all times
  • To deal sensitively with patients who have high levels of anxiety and aggression caused by pain or limited mobility.
  • To work alone during participation in the oncall service assessing and managing risk.
  • Interacting effectively with patients, family, and colleagues.
  • Ensures annual competencies are current.
  • Attend to departmental meetings.
  • Follow the policy and procedure, maintain professional demeanour and work in accordance with UAE Professional Code of Conduct.

Salary:
AED6, AED7,000.00 per month

  • Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
