  • JOB PURPOSE

Perform skilled masonry work, build, alter and repair brick, stone, tile or ceramic structures and surfaces for EPICO's properties and third party properties to ensure that timely and quality services are provided to meet customer's satisfactions.


  • ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Accountabilities (Up To Max. 6)

  • Masonry Maintenance: Install, repair, maintain and alter building walls and other brick or stone. Install ceramic tiles, marble structures, mixing mortar, cement and plaster as required. Timely repair of steps/stairs when needed in addition to plastering ceilings as well as walls.
  • Operations: Manage and maintain the tools, equipment required to complete each task and ensure all components at the work location are in operational condition. Provide estimations for the masonry work and observe the work schedule times set by the supervisor.
  • HSE (Health, Safety & Environment): Conduct repairs, maintenance work in compliance with HSE policies & procedure and encourage colleagues to practice the same.
  • Team Work: Help other technicians on their work and handle other tasks as requested by the Supervisor when needed.

  • EPICO's property portfolio includes different residential and commercial buildings, offices, villas, individual apartments, industrial units, retail units, commercial areas, industrial and land plots. EPICO operates in yearly maintenance contracts for own properties and third party properties.

Qualification (e.g. Academic Qualification, Certifications, Licenses)

  • Secondary School Education Certificate
  • Vocational training and/or trade test from a certified institute is preferred.
Experience

  • 2 years of minimum experience as a Mason.
  • Acceptable command of spoken and written English language.
  • Experience in repair/maintenance work is preferred.
