PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The General Manager is responsible for leading the operations and complete management of all staff within the branch.

He / She contributes to the development of the branch operations in terms of promotions, event planning, launching new services, improving the branch's efficiency, achieve set budgets/revenue and deliver outstanding customer service.


He / She will attract, recruit, develop, train, and engage our staff to achieve individual and branch targets in line with the business goals of the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROCESS

  • Oversee daytoday operations
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Lead business growth, based on a market analysis with innovate ideas, offers, packages and find new opportunities or concepts to invest in.
  • Manage Birthday events, prepare promotions and special events, in coordination with the Marketing department & senior management.
  • Proactively put in place action plans when targets are not reached and take full ownership and accountability over the branch's P&L account.
  • Perform quality control and inspections on site to ensure proper functioning of the operation.
  • Ensure the terms & conditions, standards and HSE policies are duly implemented and respected and make sure the organization's processes remain legally compliant.
  • Coordinate activities of departments to obtain optimum efficiency of operations with minimum cost to maximize profits.
  • Manage Birthday events, prepare promotions and special events, in coordination with the Marketing department & senior management.
  • Coordinate with Senior General Manager to set the budgets and targets for the departments.
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting and marketing the business
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Dealing with complaints and emergencies
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • To assist the Managing Director with maintaining brand standards through integrity and sustainable business practices

PEOPLE

  • Providing a good working atmosphere
  • Motivating staff to drive performance
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Staff development helping staff to work on lacking areas
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Proactive approach contact members about their raised concerns/suggestions/complaints ensuring that members know that we care about them and the business
  • Lead team meetings
  • Ensure performance management is followed with company guidelines

3.
INITIATIVES

  • Work on new events for the branch.
  • Conceptualizing events.
  • Research and test new products to bring into the business and maximize all opportunities for Revenue growth.
  • Being a spokesperson and represent the club/brand.
  • Build relationships with the surrounding Businesses in the immediate area in order to potentially attract Corporate Members.
  • To support and participate in local community events.
  • Live the Brand and promote the Core Values. Love what you do.

Salary:
From AED10,000.00 per month
