**Description: - Assist the Sushi Chef and Head Sushi Chef in providing high quality food - Prepare and properly garnish food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation - Set up for lunch and dinner according to Sushi Chef and Head Sushi Chef instructions - Store unused food properly -Ensure the products are made with the upmost care and attention to detail at all times The ideal Sushi Commis Chef will: - Demonstrate a good understanding of good hygiene practices within all food production and food service areas. - Show creativity and imagination for food presentation - Have attention to detail, precision and patience - Have good organisational skills - Be able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure - Have a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene - Preferably have had previous experience in a high volume kitchen
