Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations Management:
- Oversee daytoday kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, following local health regulations and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen budget effectively.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels and quality of ingredients.
- Implement and maintain standard recipes, portion control, and food presentation guidelines.
Staff Supervision and Training:
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the kitchen team, ensuring effective teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide coaching and support as required.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging creativity, innovation, and professional growth among kitchen staff.
Menu Development and Cost Control:
- Collaborate with the executive chef or culinary team to create innovative and appealing menus.
- Monitor food costs and analyze profitability, implementing costcontrol measures to maximize revenue.
- Maintain accurate recipe documentation, portion control, and standardized cooking procedures.
- Regularly review and update menu offerings based on customer preferences, seasonal availability, and industry trends.
Quality Assurance and Food Safety:
- Ensure consistent quality of food, adhering to established standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular food taste tests and inspections to maintain high standards of flavor, appearance, and consistency.
- Monitor and enforce food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.
- Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.
Relationship Management:
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of kitchenrelated products and services.
- Collaborate with the frontofhouse staff to address customer feedback, concerns, and special requests.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a highvolume food establishment.
- Culinary or hospitality degree/diploma is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in menu planning, costing, and recipe development.
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize kitchen operations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.

Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month

- Meal plan: 2 years (preferred)
