JOB TITLE
Manager Commercial | MAF Retail | Corporate HO - UAE

ROLE SUMMARY
The manager-commercial is responsible for coordinating with buyers as well as supporting purchases for MAF Retail.

The role holder is also responsible for assisting with selection and examining products that get to store shelves, in catalogs, and online.


ROLE PROFILE

  • Implement effective strategies for sourcing goods and maintaining desired stock levels.
  • Engage in sourcing the best quality products for competitive prices aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Identify profitable suppliers and initiate partnerships.
  • Develop reports on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Follow all required policies and procedures related to quality assurance of sourced items.
  • Communicate with Sales Development frequently to better understand the needs of MAF Retail.
  • Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
  • Control spending and build a culture of longterm savings on procurement costs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
years in a similar position including - 4 years in the retail/FMCG industry is preferred

  • Aptitude in decisionmaking and working with numbers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading, and Writing)
  • Arabic is a plus.
