Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of architects, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review and approve architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for compliance with technical standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and integration of architectural elements within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with architectural plans, identify any discrepancies, and propose corrective actions if necessary.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve design issues, construction challenges, and changes during the project implementation phase.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews for architects and provide feedback on their work performance, professional development, and training needs.
  • Keep uptodate with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in architectural design and construction techniques within the oil and gas sector.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the architectural team and across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in architectural design and supervision, preferably in Construction and engineering industry, experience in oil and gas industry is an advantage.
  • Indepth knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of architects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities to address design and construction challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to architectural design and construction in the oil and gas industry.

Salary:
Up to AED11,000.00 per month
